The production is intended to be a homage to the great American pianist Bill Evans. All of the tracks Bill Evans played at the legendary Village Vanguard sessions were rehearsed and performed in his spirit and conception.
Several concerts have already taken place at which around 40 pieces have been performed. It was always an exciting affair and the audience was always enthusiastic!
The 12 tracks on these two CDs are a selection from four concerts in a small club in Fribourg-Marly (Switzerland)!
